War Game Tactics Wiki

This is a hobby website devoted to tactics for table top war gaming. On this site you will find tactics for several table top war-games. Playing war-games are very good at exercising players mental arithmetic and spatial awareness. You do not have to have these qualities to play, but as you play more war-games you will find that decisions become quicker as these skills develop.

Trade Marks
Warhammer, Warhammer 40000, are trade marks of Games Workshop (external link). We respect all their trade marks, copy rights and hard work creating the games we enjoy.

Warhammer 40k

Warhammer 40000 is the futuristic version of popular Warhammer science fiction table top war-game. Between the three Games Workshop games Warhammer 40000 is probably easiest (least complex rules).
I have written this site aimed at those who have played a couple of times and own a copy of the rules and want to advance their skills. If you do not have a copy of the rule book them buy one. It's a must have item to play the game.
In this section we will have a look at the tactics for the Games Workshop Warhammer 40000 table top wargame. Please remember these pages do not replace the game rules. You will need to buy (or have access to) a copy of the rules to play the game. The rules are available from Games Workshop Mail Order (external link). The official introduction to the game can be found at http://www.games-workshop.com (external link).

Warhammer Fantasy

Enter the world of Wizards and Dragons with Warhammer Fantasy.
Warhammer Fantasy is set in a fantasy setting of wizards, dragons, and mythical creatures. Warhammer Fantasy has more rules than the Sci-fi version so it appeals to the more mature player. The races available are simlar to 40K with approximately 15 different armies available to choose from.
Warhammer requires much more precise thinking that is required for Warhammer 4000 and is generally played by more mature players.
As usual to play Warhammer Fantasy you will need own (or access to) a copy of the rule book and additional army book for the army that you play.
