Warhammer 40k Apocalypse
,/div>
Ok, so you've collected a good sized army, or you have some tasty big
models that don't work in small games, or you want to have a 40k battle 'party' with several players. This is
where Warhammer 40k Apocalypse comes in.
Apocalypse is an extention to the Warhammer 40k rules. This means that you will need a copy of the full
rules book to play the Apocalypse rules.
New Rules Released For 2013
Games Workshop have re-released a 2nd version of the Warhammer 40k Apocalypse written with the 6th Edition of
the Warhammer 40k rules in mind. However the additional rules are loose enough to work with the 5th Edition
Warhammer 40k rules if you are using them.
Rules Overview
The one thing I like about the Warhammer 40k Apocalypse, is that the rules are wonderfully simple.
First you take the standard 40k rules, make the minimum game size 3,000 points, remove the force organization
charts, and add a few optional extras like 'Stratigic Assets' and some new unit types, and there you have it!
