Warhammer Fantasy
High Elf Mage &
Arch Mage box set
Are these Wizards magic enough?
Our Rating:
Product Summary
The High Elf army needs strong magical support to be effective. This box set includes plastic parts to make two
Mages or Arch mages, one on foot, and the other on horse back. Coming from the Games Workshop Citadel
stables there is a high level of expectation. Do these models make the grade?
Pros
The sprue containes enough options to create the two figures in any number of ways. this will allow you to
create you Mages in the fashion you desire and keep them individual. The figures are well
detailed.
Cons
Unlike many Games Workshop Citadel figues, the arms are desighed to be in a fixed position. This can be a bit
chalanging if the unit you wish the field the Mage with are not modeled in the expected fashion. This will effect
the mage on foot more often as the model fills the 1" square base that it comes with.
Conclusion
These are good quality models that are a pleasure to have in the army. As the High Elf army relies in part on
it's magical powers, they make good tactical sense too.
For the best prices I'd recommend recommend buying on line. I usually use Amazon as they are a reliable on-line
company. You can find their link for the High Elf Mage and Arch Mage here
